CANCELLED: March 21 Vermont All-Day Sacred Harp Singing in Middlebury

As COVID-19 continues its spread in and around Vermont, public health authorities have advised that open gatheringsshould be suspended, restricted, or cancelled in order to slow the rate of infection. This will reduce the challenge of providing care for too many people being infected at the same time, as happened in China and Italy. Accordingly, we have cancelled the March 21 Vermont All-Day Sacred Harp Singing in Middlebury. This is a regrettable but necessary step to help slow down the spread of a highly contagious disease. We look forward to celebrating the 40th Vermont All-Day Sacred Harp Singing in March 2021.

The CVUUS sanctuary is a splendid music venue. The building also has a new kitchen and dining area and a newly refinished sanctuary floor. To keep it looking like new, please bring indoor or clean footwear. Only water bottles and covered coffee mugs in the sanctuary, please.

We aim to have a “zero waste management” event, with thanks to Tim McCosker. CVUUS will provide all dishes, flatware, cups and glasses. You can leave yours at home. Your serving dishes and utensils will be washed after lunch.
