The 47th New England Sacred Harp Singing Convention will be held on Saturday, October 4 and Sunday, October 5 in the Contois Auditorium at Burlington City Hall, 149 Church St, Burlington, VT 05401.

We will be singing from the recently released 2025 Denson edition of the Sacred Harp. Books will be able to borrow or buy ($20). Book sales and registration begin at 9:00am both days; , singing starts at 10am.

All are welcome, no experience required. 

Dinner on the Grounds (potluck lunch) will be served at noon both days.

A Friday evening singing school on singing fundamentals, traditions and etiquette will be held at the Burlington Center for the Arts at 135 Church Street (next door to City Hall) from 6-8pm. It will be taught by Nicholas Thomas from Alabama. Book sales will be available there from 5:30pm.

Proof of a same-day negative COVID test is required for entry to the singing school and both days of the convention. Please try to test before arriving to the event. Tests will be available at the door.
